The City of Stirling is not only home to the world’s oldest football, but has been the birthplace of many football legends over the years.
Supported by the Scottish Football Supporters Association, we are launching the Stirling Football Hall of Fame and Walking Tour. The Hall of Fame will honour our football greats, shedding light on an important part of our heritage that many locals and visitors alike are not aware of.
The “Wall of Fame” will feature large format interpretive boards, running along the south-facing wall of Forthbank Stadium. From here, a self-guided walking tour takes participants on a journey through Stirling’s football history.
